I can't wait to help more students with their tutoring needs. I especially love working with students in grade 2 through 8. I think it's important to connect with each student in order to develop a good relationship and make them feel comfortable. When a student knows that you're there to help, they will be more willing to work together. I like to work individually with each student to get to know his or her challenges as well as find out what type of learning style works best. All students have their own best way to learn and take in information, so not every child should be taught the same way. I not only want to help my students succeed, but I also want to help them feel more confident. I have over 5 years of teaching experience. I've taught third and fifth grade levels in the classroom. As an elementary school teacher, I won Teacher of the Year award twice! I also have experience managing after school programs and programs geared to challenge gifted students. I am certified to teach in multiple states. I also have a lifetime teaching credential in the state of California. I'm looking forward to helping more students with their study and learning needs!
